Délice de Bouzy

Origin: Grand Cru in Bouzy
Grape varieties: 50% Pinot Noir, 50% Chardonnay
Maturation: Hand-picked from our mid-slope vines, whole bunch pressed, alcoholic fermentation at 18°C, malolactic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats, aged on laths in our traditional cellars.
Blending: Several years to ensure a product of consistent quality.
Dosage: 7g of sugar per litre.
Format: 75cl bottle.

Tasting notes:

Visual: Golden colour, perfect brilliance.
Olfactory: Powerful nose, very typical of Bouzy. Notes of ripe fruit, see candied fruit and gingerbread.
Taste: Full and powerful on the palate. Quince jelly, prunes. Grapefruit-like citrus fruit on the finish. The acidity is subdued but very present, providing good balance.

Food & wine:
Perfect as an aperitif, with foie gras toast, etc.
